UV DTF prints UV-curable ink onto film and cures it instantly; you then peel and stick onto hard surfaces (flat or curved). No heat press is needed. Regular DTF uses heat-activated adhesive powder and is pressed to fabric.
Any clean, smooth hard surface: tumblers, mugs, glass, acrylic, stainless, coated metals, plastics, phone cases, laptops, signs, etc.—including many curved items.
Reality check: results vary. UV DTF is very water and scratch-resistant, but high heat + detergents can shorten life. We recommend hand wash for best longevity; brief top-rack use can be OK but reduces lifespan.
With proper application and care, several years is common; outdoors, 2–5 years is a typical range depending on ink quality, UV exposure, and maintenance (laminate/clear coats can extend life).
Clean the surface → separate A/B films as directed → position → squeegee firmly → peel carrier at a low angle; a careful 180° peel helps avoid lifting. (No heat press required.)
They adhere strongly for long-term use. You can remove them with effort (and adhesive remover if needed), but they are not meant to be repositioned once set.
Yes—one of the big advantages. Clean thoroughly, align, and burnish out air as you wrap for edge adhesion.
