Short answer: If you sell custom shirts for Christmas, plan to have your DTF transfers in hand by December 10, 2026. The U.S. Postal Service recommends shipping by December 17 (Ground Advantage) for delivery by December 25, and you need a few days to press, pack and ship your own orders. MAYA TX ships every order placed by 12 PM Central Time, Monday–Saturday, the same day.

USPS dates are the Postal Service’s recommended mailing dates for the contiguous U.S. (announced September 2026). They are recommendations, not guarantees.

Work backward: when should you order DTF transfers?

The mistake most shops make is planning around their customer’s deadline instead of their own production time. Count backward from the day your orders must ship:

Ship your customer orders by December 17 (Ground Advantage) or December 18 (Priority Mail).
Press and pack: give yourself 3–5 working days for holiday volume, more if you are a one-person shop.
Transit time for your transfers: plan for several business days with standard shipping, or choose a faster option at checkout. Customers in Texas often receive orders the next day, depending on the carrier.
Order your transfers before 12 PM CT so they print and ship the same day.

Our recommendation: place your main holiday gang sheet order by Monday, December 7, and use December 8–14 for top-up reorders of your best sellers. That keeps you clear of the post-Cyber Monday rush and leaves room for a reprint if a design needs a fix.

How MAYA TX same-day shipping works

Cutoff: orders placed by 12 PM Central Time, Monday through Saturday, print and ship the same day.
Free U.S. shipping: standard shipping is free on orders of $89 or more, and every wholesale gang sheet qualifies.
Faster options: Priority Mail and Next Day Air are shown at checkout.
Local pickup: free pickup in Leander, TX (Suite 1B) — Monday to Friday until 5 PM, Saturday until 3 PM. This is the safest option for last-minute orders in the Austin area.

Five ways to avoid holiday delays

Finalize files early. Use 300 DPI artwork with a transparent background. Most delays come from files that need fixing, not from printing.
Build one large sheet instead of many small ones. A single 25–100 ft wholesale sheet costs less per square inch (as low as $0.015) and is faster to cut and sort.
Order a buffer of best sellers. If a design sold well on Black Friday, it will sell again in December.
Reorder in seconds. Save time on repeat designs with our 30-second reorder page.

Frequently asked questions

What is the last day to order DTF transfers for Christmas 2026?

For shops that ship to their own customers, we recommend ordering by December 7 and no later than December 14. If you pick up locally in Leander and deliver in person, you can order closer to the holiday, as long as you order before 12 PM CT for same-day printing.
